This is a game that should never have been released as a standalone title. As a DLC – for example, DLC 3 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – it might have been acceptable.

For fans of the Middle Eastern setting in the 8th century and the Assassin’s Creed style, it offers around 35 hours of gameplay – that includes all missions and full map completion.

Unfortunately, there’s no story content tied to the present-day narrative. If you haven’t played previous entries in the series, you might feel lost. Don’t expect familiar characters like Desmond Miles or Layla Hassan (whom I didn’t like anyway).

Gameplay

The combat mechanics with swords and daggers, as well as counters and dodges, are – in my opinion – terrible. After playing AC: Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, this feels like a 15-year step backward. It reminds me a bit of The Witcher (2007) – if you’ve played it, you know what I mean. The Witcher had story and atmosphere to make up for it, but Mirage lacks both. The absence of double assassinations is disappointing – there's a workaround, but it’s just not satisfying.

Tools like throwing knives and darts are more than enough to beat the game. I unlocked decoys and bombs just for achievements ?.

Artificial Intelligence

On the "Assassin" difficulty (not to be confused with easy), the enemy AI is underwhelming. The game requires almost no effort. At times, the lack of response to “illegal actions” is just ridiculous. Compared to Ghost Recon Breakpoint, where stealth required real strategy, here you can slash your way through anything with little consequence.

Escapes are trivial – run across three or four rooftops and you're free ☹.

Exploration and character progression

If you're a collector, you’ll have no trouble clearing the map. There’s no need to buy additional maps – it’s fully doable without a guide, which could be seen as a plus.

Upgrading weapons and armor? You’ll find more than enough resources to upgrade everything. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any real difference between various builds – it all feels more or less the same.

Price

I p@id ^$ PLN (around !% EUR) for the base game on Ubi$oft-connect. – and even at that price, I’m still unsure if it was worth it.

Czy gra jest zła? Nie! Czy mogłaby być lepsza? Tak! Po tym wstępie, powiem dlaczego, uważam tak, a nie inaczej. Standardowo zacznijmy od minusów. Jako fan gwiezdnych wojen (Mniej serialu wojny klonów (chociaż też go lubię) oczekiwałem po tej grze czegoś lepszego. Czegoś bardziej w stylu Skywalker sagi. Czyli misje zgdone z fabułą i bez bezsensownych rzeczy których w ogóle w fabule nie bylo. Np w misji z piratami i jar jarem, jar jar musi zniszczyć czołgi i inne rzeczy z pomocą 2 klonów. Fakt było to w animacji, ale tutaj zostalo to przedstawione jako wielka bitwa. Jar jar w animacji podszedł do czołgów, powiedział że przyniósł przyprawę i wzięli go, ale jar jar przypadkiem zniszczył czołg. Co w tej grze zostało przedstawione bardzo przesadnie, jak w starych tytułach lego Star Wars. No bo jest to stara gra Star Wars... Przejdźmy do lobby. Jest bardzo skromne? Niby możemy podróżowac statkiem (bo lobby to statek) na planety, ale widzimy je tylko ze statku i nie możemy na nie wejść, więc ta opcja jest zupełnie niepotrzbna. Z misjami miałem ogromny problem. Niby są samouczki, ale te misje i tak mnie pokonały. Często nie wiedziałem co robić, mimo że oglądałem filmy i animacje. Postaci jest mało. Wiem, że to gra z wojen klonów, ale brakuje tutaj, wielu postaci z innych trylogii. Miło byłoby je zobaczyć. W grze Star Wars Skywaler Saga mimo, że gra nie zawiera fabuły serialu Wojen Klonów posiada sporo postaci z tego serialu. No więc tu też mogli nam z oryginalnej trylogii czy więcej z prequeli podarować :D. Grafika jest taka sobie. Wszystko sie rzuca w oczy a najmniej postać w wielu momentach. Wiele razy także kliknąłem F2 przez co włączyła mi się druga osoba do sterowania na strzałkach i nie dalo się jej wyłączyć. Tryby multiplayer (na padzie i klawiaturze) są spoko, ale wszystkie są bardzo podobne. No i trudno grać chronologicznie z serialem, bo prowadzą nas jakieś 3 ścieżki i każda odbywa sie w innym etapie serialu. No i dość trudno sie w tym połapać. Jeśli chodzi o Plusy mamy wiele misji no i dość długą rozgrywke, sporo eatster egów i fajne animacje. mamy sporo akcji i dodatkowych rzeczy, ale nie tak dużo jak w skywaler saga. Hm 5/10

Odświeżona grafika robi wrażenie, jest na co popatrzeć. Oblivion to gra, do której i tak regularnie wracam, a teraz z dodatkową przyjemnością. Świetnie zrobione odgłosy przyrody.

Jednak zawsze w beczce miodu musi sie znaleźć łyżka dziegciu... W starym Oblivionie po wejściu do jakichkolwiek wnętrz czy podziemi, M od razu wywoływało minimapę tych wnętrz, teraz trzeba używać suwaka, co jest irytujące.

Musiałam też tymczasowo przerwać główny wątek na Shivering Isles, bo nie da się wyjść z Gardens of Flesh and Bones. Wielu graczy ma tu błąd, który nie ładuje drzwi. Próbowałam korzystać z dostępnych porad, ale żadne rozwiązanie u mnie nie zadziałało.

Poza tym gra ma sporo drobnych błędów, ale da się je obejść, trzeba tylko pamiętać o częstym zapisywaniu. Jak dla mnie 8/10
